The American College of Tax Counsel (ACTC) announces that it recently elected 16 new Fellows into its ranks. The following individuals were elected at the College’s February 9 meeting in San Diego:

Current Regents re-elected for a second three-year term are: Larry Campagna of Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry LLP in Houston, TX; Peter Connors of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in New York, NY; and Michael Desmond of the Law Offices of Michael T. The American College of Tax Counsel is a nonprofit professional association of tax lawyers in private practice, in law school teaching positions, and in government, who are recognized for their excellence in tax practice and for their substantial contributions and commitment to the profession.
The College is currently comprised of approximately 700 Fellows recognized for their outstanding reputations and contributions to the field of tax law. The College is governed by a 19-member body consisting of a Board of Regents which includes one regent drawn from each federal judicial circuit and two regents at-large, the officers of the College and the College’s most recent Past President.
