A US Ophthalmologist, Howard Pomeranz, the director of neuro-ophthalmogy at the University of Maryland Medical Centre, has claimed that men who take the impotency drug Viagra could put themselves at risk of going blind. He knew of 5 users who had lost their vision. It is believed the men suffered from ischaemic optic neuropathy.
